DavisLogic Business Continuity and  Emergency Management Consulting

DavisLogic Emergency Management and Business Continuity Consulting and Training

DavisLogic provides this site to share information and resources relating to Comprehensive Emergency Management. As we define it, Comprehensive Emergency Management Programs include Continuity of Operations (COOP), Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Security, and Disaster Recovery -- activities that share a common mission: they are all aimed at reducing the impact of emergencies on our lives and our operations.

Using the table of contents at the left, you can find topical articles, presentations, books, papers, and links all relating to Comprehensive Emergency Management.

Comprehensive Emergency Management

The Comprehensive Emergency Management Program (CEMP) is an overarching process that addresses all hazards and includes awareness, prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery elements. While a good CEMP is essential for community preparedness, a CEMP is also essential if your business wants to stay in business during and after an emergency.  Comprehensive Emergency Management programs should include everything that is key to business success and survival before, during, and after an emergency or disaster. Business Continuity, COOP and COG, and Disaster Recovery are subsets of the CEMP approach.

How Homeland Security relates to Comprehensive Emergency Management

All Hands Network

DavisLogic recently launched a new "virtual community" for emergency management professionals. All-Hands.net is being provided as a non-commercial public service.  This is a fully interactive and user-supported community portal for emergency management practitioners where information sharing is easy. The site will be totally user supported with administration by DavisLogic. Check out some of the latest articles or join our discussion groups: Business Continuity and Emergency Management.
