Comprehensive Emergency Management

The Comprehensive Emergency Management Program (CEMP) is an overarching process that addresses all hazards and includes awareness, prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery elements. While a good CEMP is essential for community preparedness, a CEMP is also essential if your business wants to stay in business during and after an emergency.  Comprehensive Emergency Management programs should include everything that is key to business success and survival before, during, and after an emergency or disaster. Business Continuity, COOP and COG, and Disaster Recovery are subsets of the CEMP approach.
